Gibbs' new house.
Published June 10, 2007 by Sim inWell we have decided to call it Gibbs. Bek has been trying it out today and we think it suits him, its a rabbit kinda name, short and sweet. Yes, it was inspired by NCIS...
We've been reading up more on rabbits and training. Apparently 'hard' names are better than 'soft' names, ie: Jack vs John. So Gibbs works on that front, compared with Gary i guess...
Anyway, I started construction on his house today. Dad and i made a successful trip down to Bunnings armed with a basic plan and some required materials.
I should be able to finish it off tomorrow, with the help of Dad and his wonderful, tool filled garage.
The only bit left to build is his little under-cover shelter which will stick on the end when needed, and the lid for the top.
Should be all good, then he can have a proper home, rather than the big cardboard box that he finally learnt to jump out of this afternoon. :)
(this is a phone photo too...not bad!?)

Gibbs is a cool name! It also suit well as Gibb from the BeeGees has buck teeth!
I was expecting a flashy Industrial Designed hutch! I suppose the immediate need for 'something' means you've had to default to the classic design. Maybe you could work on version2 later.
Rob.
Gibb is a good name. It suit the wabbit as he has this "nothing phazes me-I'm always concentrating-puzzling out what DiNozzo is doing NOW-I just look at you and you obey me" expression on his face.
Mum and Dad Y.
Rob - All the Bee Gees are Gibbs!
Sim - By "hard" name do mean tough? You know, like "Crockett" instead of "Sonny".
no :) , hard as in, it stands out to them, and is a clear sounding word.
we haven't noticed any huge teeth yet. I think they are quite reasonable, he has a cute tongue tho.
Marty - I know all the BeeGees are Gibbs! I just couldn't remember their 1st names to specify the one with the worst teeth, so I just said The guy, and hoped everyone knew which one!
