Surely we need to stop thinking of the HSV as a "re-vamped" holden and start putting it into the catergory of "near-supercar". They have...but i don't think the public think that quite yet. Either way, you can't argue with 4.97sec and 285kph top speeds, classy interior and the latest technology to match Ferrari; all for under $80k
Nothing in Europe uner $200,000 matches this performance apparently!
i wish i had one....

And although I can appreciate the cultural and performance aspects of the Aussie muscle cars I still haven't managed to make sense of the need for so much power in a car that's big enough for a family.
They're not sports cars, they're performance cars. But why does Average Joe and his family need performance?
Answer: to satisfy his revhead urges.
And that's what creates danger on the roads.
