I start work back at Snap Printing next Friday! I received a call out-of-the-blue about 2 weeks ago from the owner, asking if i had one day a week free to work. I happened to have Friday's free, and away we go!
What's more, I managed a pay-rise without even working a day! The initial pay was not practical for me as it could not compete with the casual rates at Target - so I hesitantly explained this to the owner, as I was in a dilemma...wanting to work in the design industry, yet right now money is a BIG issue.
So, I was fortunate enough to receive an increase in pay to match Target! I am now a very appreciative little Snap designer. :)
I should try that more often...
